At Navigating Neurodivergence, we have four core pillars:

Collaboration Connection Curiosity & Conviction

Collaboration
At Navigating Neurodivergence, we offer unique whole-family support with a multidisciplinary approach. Our commitment to providing long-term, sustainable support extends beyond the child and encompasses the people they are surrounded by most. All consulting and team-building services are done collaboratively with both of our founders, who weigh in from both an education and a healthcare lens.
Connection
We believe in you and care that you feel validated and heard. We know how discouraging it can be to find resources and support for your child, and we are here to help.
Curiosity
Creativity is one of the most important human traits. Being differently wired makes us incredible at finding support and solutions for families by thinking inside and outside the box.
Conviction
Neurodivergent individuals deserve equity. We help you advocate for your child (and you!) within your school and community through IEP meeting assistance, custom email templates to streamline healthcare communication and appointment booking, and more. We help you find your voice.

Roadmapping her son’s success has turned into a mission to advocate for other students in similar situations.

Daviana is dedicated to ensuring students have the tools to succeed and reach their full potential.

Jenny O’Mahony

Jenny O’Mahony, Co-founder of Navigating Neurodivergence
RN, BSN

A lifelong helper, Jenny brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her role. Jenny has over 18 years of experience working in healthcare as a Registered Nurse within the acute care system and as a faculty member within the post-secondary education system. Her most significant accomplishments come from the “school of life.” Tapping into her neurodivergence traits, such as hyperfocus, the ability to learn and process information quickly and an unparalleled level of tenacity, make Jenny the ultimate ally for your family as you
navigate your neurodivergence journey.

Jenny has three daughters, one of which has a dual autism and ADHD diagnosis. After a year of “trusting the process” within the healthcare and education systems, it became clear that they were not equipped to support or even diagnose her daughter. This personal journey, coupled with her professional experience, led her to take action. Seven months later, her daughter had an ADHD and autism diagnosis and a whole team to support her. The discovery process of seeking an accurate diagnosis for her daughter led her to get her own ADHD diagnosis. This
personal experience has given her a unique understanding and empathy for the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and their families.

Her tenacity, creativity, and ability to think outside the box allowed her daughter to access specialized assessments, diagnoses, and support on an impressive timeline. Jenny’s motto, “Life is a team sport,” is not just a phrase, but a guiding principle that she embodies in her role as co-founder of Navigating Neurodivergence and in her daily life. This belief in the power of teamwork to overcome challenges inspires and motivates others in their own neurodivergence journeys.
